Lehman caves, trying to get Addie to take a much needed nap

Oh, yeah- we saw a bear and like the tourists we are, we took pictures
Okay, so we still have some more vacation to document. After San Fran we went to Yosemite National Park. It was gorgeous! We only stayed one day there but you could seriously plan to be there for a week and probably not see everything. The thing that probably surprised me the most was how many tourists there were. They were everywhere. There was this beautiful spot on the Merced river that we had all to ourselves for about 10 minutes and then the crowd rolled in. We drove around and were able to see most of the big rock formations from the car. Then we headed down the road to see a sequoia grove. I cannot believe how huge some of the trees were. Some had been struck by lightning and were charred but still alive. It was pretty cool. We also stopped by Mono lake and watched a very informative movie. On our way through Nevada we saw wild horses and a big horn sheep. Unfortunately, the big horn sheep pics did not turn out to well. We need a zoom lens for the camera. We spent the night and the headed to Great Basin National park to see Lehman cave. It was actually pretty cool and I think that they have changed the visitor center since I was there last. Addie didn't hear the ranger say not to touch anything and she was constantly trying to grab the cool stalagmites. By the end, I was ready to head home. It had been a really fun trip and we were able to see a lot of cool places but the cumulative effect of Addie sleeping with us and not taking great naps was beginning to wear on me. And, its always nice to come home.
looks like a fun trip!! so when are we going to do our FHE together?!
