Here are a few pics of when I tried out for American Idol in San Diego a few years ago. It was very fun to hang out at the beach and visit with Grandpa Dawson. It was slightly less fun hanging out in the stadium for hours on end waiting to audition but quite an experience. I'm glad that I had my husband there for support- he was the go to guy when we needed breakfast burritos at McDonalds. Needless to say, I didn't make it :) I love the beach!
